Hello quirky photobooth fans! It may seem as though it’s been all quiet on the Western Front with us recently – it’s not that I don’t *want* to update the blog, it’s more that I don’t get the time – it’s *that* crazy!
Over the past few months I’ve been beavering away down the workshop working on a new photobooth project to fit in with and complement our existing unusual vintage photobooths, and I’m finally at a stage where I can pop a few photos on here to show you all what it’s about.
The past year has been a whirlwind with well over 100 bookings in 2015, over 120 already booked in for this year and counting. Since I’ve updated this page we’ve taken on a lovely young lady called Lauren to help us take out our fabulous vintage themed photobooths and a glorious chap called Craig to take out the caravan photobooth. We’ve also bought a second caravan to get done up so that Ellie has a backup plan just in case (at the moment we have three unusual and unique vintage photobooths for that same reason) and then we have the works in progress.
So, the new photobooth I’m itching to tell you about! Basically…..it’s a living room wall set – and it looks amazing even if I say so myself. Standing at 8′ high and around 12′ wide at its best it’s certainly not for the faint-hearted or the smaller venue – this bad boy is turning out to be a themed photobooth for the big guns. On the booth there are four picture frames, each with a hinged door behind so that you can either go and pose behind the photobooth in a picture frame or pose in front on our lovely little vintage red armchair. The whole ensemble will be finished off with a little telephone table with a gramophone and standard table lamp. It should look pretty amazing when it’s finished.
Also in the workshop at the moment we have a gorgeous papermoon style booth – a beautiful crescent moon with a stand so you can literally ‘sit on the moon’ for your photos, as well as a vintage cinema sign – looking forward to getting all of these little projects tidied up and finished over the next few months.
The past year has also been a whirlwind of corporate events as well as weddings, we’ve done some fab work for companies such as Bremont, ITV, The Science Museum, The Natural History Museum, London Business School, Britvic, Taylor Wimpey, Next. Sunborn & Riverside to name but a few. New clients have been brought on board and relationships with old clients have been strengthened – so happy times.
So, for all your vintage, quirky, unique and unusual photobooth needs give us a shout – just the right amount of crazy to make your event or wedding really stand out above the rest.
